"I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list"

Susan Sontag

I love checking new places out, however, not every new place is a place I've fallen in love with. there are 4 places that have captured my heart.

So... I lived here but, I moved to this wonderful city without ever visiting it beforehand, therefore.. it's making the list. I wasn't really sure if I would enjoy Boston, but I fell in love immediately + made it my home for 4.5 years. I loved the history, how each neighborhood was different, the food, the people, the atmosphere.. it just felt comfortable.

New Orleans

NOLA has been on my list + I was able to visit for a wedding -- which enhances the experience, IMO. Even though this place was on my list, NOLA exceed what I thought it would be like. This city is so fun, the architecture is stunning, the culture, jazz music, beignet, crawfish!!

Fun fact: I never wanted to go to Pittsburgh.

It was a place that didn't "strike my fancy" so to speak. The only reason why I went was because my brother moved outside of the city so I went. Now, it's one of my favorite cities to visit. The strip district is one of my favorite areas!

I wanted to go to Vermont to see the fall foliage + to visit the Ben + Jerry's factory. I had heard people mention Burlington + Stowe but didn't really think much of it. I finally made it to the Ben + Jerry's factory with my family + afterwards we decided to go to Burlington to get lunch. I was unexpectedly surprised at how cute the city was. Visiting in the peak fall season just added to my experience + made me love it even more.
