Ready for another round of #tipfultuesday?

When you're photographing, you're going to want to pay attention to the light.

Ask yourself:

  1. How harsh is the sun at this moment?
  2. Are my subjects squinting?
  3. Can I see my shadow on my subjects? Or any shadows from nearby objects?
  4. Will my photograph be too bright?

Depending on how you answer these questions, you'll want to refigure your composition. Paying attention to the light is so important because it can make or break your picture. If you're photographing people, you don't want them to be squinty. Depending on the time of day, shadows may fall on your subjects. Make sure this doesn't happen if you are aiming for clear photographs. All-in-all be mindful of where the sun is + how it affects your subjects.
